The Greelak Material Guarantee
A product is only as good as what it's made from. We specify every material brand in your quotation and guarantee no substitutions are made during production.
BWP Marine Plywood
The foundation of all Greelak cabinet products is 18mm BWP (Boiling Water Proof) marine plywood, conforming to IS 710 — the highest structural grade available for interior furniture. Unlike commercial or MR-grade boards, BWP plywood can withstand prolonged moisture exposure without delaminating, swelling, or losing structural integrity.
We source exclusively from India's leading certified manufacturers. All boards come with the manufacturer's warranty and are inspected on receipt for moisture content, delamination, and surface quality.

Laminates, Lacquer & Finishes
High-Pressure Laminate (HPL)
The industry standard for kitchen and wardrobe shutters. 1mm thickness, available in 200+ finishes. Scratch, heat, and UV resistant. Applied with precision press bonding.
UV Lacquer
Polyurethane spray lacquer applied in our controlled spray booth. Available in full gloss, satin, and matte. Exceptionally durable and repairable. Used for premium kitchen shutters and TV units.
PVC Edge Banding
Co-extruded PVC tape applied by automated machine for a seamless edge finish. Available in 0.45mm, 1mm, and 2mm thicknesses to match every laminate from our range.
Veneer
Natural wood veneer faced MDF or plywood for a premium, organic aesthetic. Available in teak, walnut, oak, and wenge. Finished with UV lacquer for protection.
Acrylic High Gloss
Solid-colour acrylic sheets for ultra-gloss kitchen shutters. Mirror-like finish that reflects light and creates the perception of larger spaces. Scratch-resistant coating.
Powder Coat (Metal Parts)
Electrostatic powder coat applied to all steel components — legs, frames, and office desk structures. Even coverage, chip-resistant, and available in any RAL colour.
UPVC Profiles & Glass
German UPVC Extruded Profiles
Multi-chamber UPVC profiles (3-chamber and 5-chamber) from certified European manufacturers. UV-stabilised, fully recyclable, zero painting required. Lifetime colour guarantee.
Toughened Safety Glass
IS 2553 Part 1 compliant toughened glass — 5× stronger than annealed glass. Breaks into small, blunt fragments on impact. Used for all glass partition and door applications.
Double-Glazed Units (DGU)
Factory-sealed double-glazed units with 6-12-6mm configuration. Argon-filled cavity for superior thermal insulation. Low-e coating option for solar heat control — ideal for Chennai climate.
